He is currently a partner in Y Combinator.
Mixed Media Labs, founded in the year 2010 is a start-up company whose first product is picplz. It is a software for broadcasting photos on iPhone as well as Android mobile phones. The apps allow users to apply effects to their photos without cost. The current effects include “Instant Film,” “Russian Toy Camera,” “the 70s” and “High Contrast Monochrome.” Caldwell states that the effects are not destructive because picplz uploads copies of the original image and also the one that has the filter applied.
