The father is the former NFL player Joe Klecko, best known as a tackle of his time in the New York Sack Exchange, the New York Jets defense of the 1980s’ early days as well as defensive ends Mark Gastineau, Marty Lyons and Abdul Salaam.
As a member of the Colts He was occasionally in for wounded James Mungro as fullback during the 2006 season. Klecko made his very first touchdown in his career with a 2nd and Goal 4-yard touchdown pass by Peyton Manning against the Miami Dolphins on December 31st in 2006.
On November 17, 2007, Klecko was waived by the Colts. He was re-signed three days later.
