She holds a record-setting singles position in the world’s No. 345 which she achieved on April 16, 2018. At the time of 16 March 2020 Arango was the winner of one ITF championship in the singles. While playing for Colombia in the Fed Cup, Arango has an overall win-loss record of 7.
The junior circuit is where Arango is a professional with a top rank of junior of eight that she reached in January 2018. For singles she made it to the semi-finals of her 2017 US Open junior in singles and lost to Amanda Anisimova. As a double player, she made it to two quarterfinals in 2017 at Wimbledon and the US Open, respectively. In junior tennis, she won three singles titles as well as three doubles titles.
