Kahlil McKenzie is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on January 3, 1997 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. McKenzie was chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round (198th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. After being selected as a defensive tackle the Chiefs declared their intention to transfer McKenzie to the position of guard.
On August 31, 2019, McKenzie was waived by the Chiefs.
On April 20, 2020, McKenzie was signed by the Seattle Seahawks.
Awarded the status of a four-star recruit according to ESPN, McKenzie was ranked as the top. fifth defensive tackle candidate in class 2015 following Terry Beckner, Trenton Thompson, Daylon Mack, and Tim Settle. He signed with Tennessee which is his alma mater of his father over Arizona in July of 2014.
McKenzie played football in college at Tennessee from 2015 to 2017 under the direction of head coach Butch Jones. He was a rookie in the season opener of 2015 with the Bowling Green Falcons at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. He recorded his first collegiate tackle in the 2OT 31-24 defeat in the 2OT game against the Oklahoma Sooners in the next game. On the 21st of November, in the 19-8 win against the Missouri Tigers, he recorded his first ever collegiate tackle. His performance in the year 2016 was slowed because of a pectoral muscular injury that he injured against Alabama in his debut start. He was able to return from injury during the 2017 season and registered 35 total tackles and two sacks.
On September 2, 2019, McKenzie was signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. His practice squad contract with the team expired on January 20, 2020.
