Lorrie Fair is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 5, 1978 in Los Altos, California, United States. Lorraine Ming Fair, born August 5, 1978, is an American professional soccer midfielder. She was also a member the World Cup Champion United States soccer team. She was part of three Olympic and one World Cup teams over a period of ten years. She retired from international soccer in 2005.
Fair made her senior international debut in February 1996 against Norway. Fair scored her first international goal at RFK Stadium against New Zealand in March 1998.
Fair played for the Philadelphia Charge in the WUSA (2001–2003), Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon, France (2005), and Chelsea FC in the UK (2008–2009).
Since 2008, Fair has worked with several projects, such as Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project and her own Kickabout Africa 2010 project, to promote development efforts in Africa.
After missing the 1996 Olympic Games, she was offered a permanent position on the team. In 1999, she was the youngest participant in the FIFA Women’s World Cup winning team. After an overtime loss to Norway, she played every minute of 2000 Olympics in Sydney. She took home a silver medal. She was an alternate member of the 2004 Olympic Gold Medal winning Olympic team. In 2005, she retired with 120 international appearances.

Ronnie and Lorrie both played on the Los Altos High School’s women’s soccer team. They were born in Los Altos. They were both born at Stanford Hospital. After three years, they moved to New York City for their education. In 1982, they returned to the Bay Area. Ronnie selected Stanford for college. Lorrie chose University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She was a two-time NSCAA all American and Parade magazine all American. She was named one of Soccer America’s Freshmen of the Year at UNC and helped UNC win the NCAA championship in 1996 1997 and 1999. She was also awarded the Honda Sports Award for the best soccer player in the country.
In 1994, she joined the national Under 20 team and participated in the Nordic Cup. She was an athlete on the US Olympic Festival’s West Team in 1995 and was invited to join the National team. She was 17 years old and a senior at high school when she was selected as an alternate to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games team, which won the Gold. Fair declined the opportunity to travel as an alternate, because she was unhappy at being removed from Tony DiCicco’s main 16 player team.
Her twin sister, Ronnie Fair, (now Veronica Fair Sullins) was also a member of the national team, and when Ronnie was called in to participate in a game against England on May 9, 1997 at San Jose, California, it became the first time a pair of sisters played together in the Women’s National Team.
