Melanie Kogler is one of the most popular and richest Stage Actor who was born on April 18, 1985 in Salzburg, Austria. Kogler landed a part on the hit ARD series Verbotene Liebe in 2011. On January 24, 2011, Kogler debuted as Marlene von Lahnstein. This character would have many romantic encounters with the wealthy Lahnstein family. Kogler was praised for her performance as the character who fell in love with Countess Rebecca von Lahnstein (portrayed here by Tatjana Kastel). Kogler was a character who struggled with her sexual orientation while being engaged to Tristan von Lahnstein, a male member the Lahnstein families. (portrayed by Jens Hartwig). Marlene eventually realizes that Rebecca is her true love, even though she is a woman. Kogler and Kastel were named AfterEllen’s Top 25 Lesbian/Bi Characters (Right Now).
