Filgate’s guitar playing was featured on Changes, a Top 40 single by Chubby Checker in 2013. The song was released by Sony on RED / Sony. It was produced by hill & hifi (aka. Gary Lefkowith and Mike Rogers. Whistle Stop (2013) was his second solo album. Filgate also wrote and contributed to a song called Strange how Things Come Back Around, which was released in 2014 by Wishbone Ash’s Blue Horizon album. The most recent release for the summer 2015 is Pink Flamenco, an epic instrumental track.
Filgate was a well-known solo artist in 2008 with the release of his instrumental album Worlds Within. Many songs have been used as soundtrack music on major networks, including A&E’s “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” and “World of Cars” from Disney/Pixar.
