Slick Watts is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on July 22, 1951 in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, United States. After his professional playing profession, Watts became a physical education teacher at Dearborn Park elementary school and as a Basketball coach for Franklin High School in the Seattle area . He then began playing tennis. The year 2001 was the first time Watts endured 22 consecutive days at a hospitalized for the disease sarcoidosis. It led to his weight dropping by 50 pounds, before his improvement. He had to end his post-basketball profession as a teacher of physical education for over twenty years in Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School in Seattle before retiring in 2017.
The year was 1976 and Watts was also awarded in 1976 the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award for his outstanding contribution to the community.
Watts His career began to decline in the years following 1976 and he resigned from the league after just six seasons due to injuries. He played for 4 1/2 seasons with the Sonics as well as a half-season playing with the New Orleans Jazz, and one season with the Houston Rockets.
